Dr. Heather Heil
I have been practicing general dentistry since 1999. I went to Gustavus Adolphus College for under grad and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. I then attended the University of Minnesota Dental School where I received my D.D.S. with Honors.
Growing up in the Twin Cities gave me the opportunity to enjoy the arts, sports, lakes and the outdoors. I moved to the Appleton area in the summer of 1999.
When I am not practicing dentistry, I spend most of my time with my husband, Bob, and my two children, Tyler and Drew. As a family we enjoy spending time outdoors biking, going to the park and taking long walks (only in the warm weather months). I love to garden and cook in my spare time. I also am part of a ladies book club and a play group. Running and golfing are two things I also enjoy doing but have not done a lot of either since our kids were born. Traveling is also something we love to do as a family.
In our practice I enjoy seeing patients of all ages. I find dentistry to be an exciting career as it offers me the opportunity to be artistic and allows me to care for and educate all of my patients. I enjoy the variety of procedures that I am able to do as a general dentist. I strive for excellence in all that I do.
